This significant project consists of public leisure and cultural facilities provided for residents living in the southern part of Tseung Kwan O in Hong Kong’s New Territories. These facilities include district open space comprised of landscaped sitting out areas, fitness stations for adults and the elderly and children’s play areas; as well as a sports centre made up of a 1,200-seat multi-purpose arena, a multi-purpose activity room, a dance room, fitness room, outdoor sports climbing wall and a children’s playroom.

In addition, the project includes a district library comprised of an adult lending library, children’s library, quick reference section, newspaper and periodicals section, multimedia library, computer and information centre, exhibition/display area, extension activities room, student study rooms and a ‘coffee corner’.
